You must go directly to the Campo Phoenix office in Yaiza.

Recommendations: When choosing your buggy we recommend you choose from the following options:
- 2 pax buggy
- 3 pax buggy
- 4 pax buggy - not recommended for 3 / 4 adults as the buggy is not very big. Best for families with children (up to 12 years old).

Short Description

Still don't know what gofio is? It is one of the most typical foods of the Canary Islands, very similar to flour but made from toasted cereals and legumes. Without a doubt, gofio is a must in every Canarian home, and thanks to its great nutritional value it is essential for all the members of the family.

If you want to get to know the culture of the islands we encourage you to take this tour which starts in Yaiza at the Campo Phoenix offices, where you will be given an explanation on how to drive these incredible Vintage Buggys safely.

Once we have learnt the basics we will drive our buggy through the wine growing area of La Geria, feeling the fresh air on our faces and enjoying the views along the way we will arrive at El Molino. We will know we are close by the smell of the cereal roasting.

Here we will have a workshop where we will be able to taste this delicious delicacy that is Gofio and learn about its different culinary uses. Once the visit is over, we will head back to Yaiza to get to the Campo Phoenix offices.

As you approach the gofio factory, the aroma of roasted and ground grains wafts through the air, transporting you to an exciting world. Here you will tour the production rooms while you learn about the process of grinding the grain into powder. And that's not all: you can make and taste your own gofio in our workshop, a culinary journey like no other!
